Dragon Ball Z is easily my favorite anime and one of the greatest ever produced. Late 90's early 2000 is when its popularity was rapidly climbing in America, and even if either of the three series shows aren't in mainstream TV syndication currently it hasn't disappeared. Tons of games have been produced even for the current new gen systems, DBZ's entire series has been released on DVD with DB and GT following suit.
